Assessing Historical Crop Damage: An App for Farmers and Researchers
The core of this project is a digital map that evaluates historical crop damage incident data from 2016 to 2025. This analysis reveals patterns of storage damage. The processing is conducted using Google Earth Engine, and the results are publicly accessible and free through a web application:
The map supports farmers in assessing vulnerable areas and provides a foundation for research institutions to analyze the impacts of heavy rainfall and hail on damage events in the Lake Constance region.
